Thank You & Next Steps

The Oil and Gas Element and Ordinance have both been adopted by the Board of County Commissioners.  Thanks to County Staff and Residents who participated in the process.  This could not have been accomplished without your support.

The County is now moving forward with a process to revise and update the General Plan and Land Development Regulations.  We urge everyone who was involved in the oil and gas project to continue their involvement as the County protects its natural resources and quality of life by planning for the future.  A new website has been set up for the project: www.plansantafecounty.org.

Please visit the website to find out about upcoming meeting and take the on-line survey.  This short survey gauges public preferences for growth and development and helps us to identify key issues in the County.  This allows us to tailor the process and Plan to respond to the County’s needs and preferences.

Once again, thank you for your support and participation.  We look forward to continued collaboration with Santa Fe County in the coming New Year.
